Braven
Getting started

Quick start

Invite Braven, point it at a channel, and post a working ticket panel in about five minutes.

Three steps gets you a working ticket system. Everything else is optional.

1. Invite Braven

Use the Add to Discord button on bravenbot.com. Accept the permissions it asks for — what each one is for — and pick the server.

Braven does not need Administrator. If you are being offered it, you are looking at the wrong invite link.

2. Tell it which channel tickets belong in

In your server:

/setup channel channel:#support

That is the channel tickets open under. Tickets are private threads on it, so members only ever see their own, and your staff see all of them without you managing permissions per ticket.

Two more worth doing now:

/setup staff-add role:@Staff
/setup transcripts channel:#ticket-logs

The first decides who can see and claim tickets. The second is where a transcript gets posted when a ticket closes.

No staff role yet?

Anyone with Manage Threads on the channel counts as staff even with no role configured, so you are not locked out while you set things up.

3. Build a panel

A panel is the message members click. Build it in the dashboard:

bravenbot.com/dashboard → your server → Ticket panels → New panel

Give it a channel and a title, add at least one category, then Post. You get a live preview of the embed as you build it, so nothing is a surprise.

Prefer commands? These do the same thing:

/panel create channel:#support title:Support
/panel category panel:1 label:General Support
/panel post panel:1

That is a working ticket system. A member clicks, a thread opens, your staff claim it and close it, and the transcript lands in your log channel.
