Roles

Auto roles on join, sticky roles, self-assignable panels, and delegated granting.

Four different ways of deciding who holds which role.

Auto roles are given when somebody joins. Free.

Sticky roles come back if a member leaves and rejoins — so leaving does not shed a mute or a blacklist. Pro.

Self-assignable roles are panels members use to pick their own roles, with buttons or a dropdown. Free.

Delegated granting lets a role hand out specific other roles without giving anyone Manage Roles. Pro.

Braven's role must sit above the roles it grants

Discord will not let any bot manage a role above its own, whatever its permissions. If roles are not being applied, check the hierarchy first.

Commands

Roles given automatically when someone joins

`/autoroles create`	Give a role to everyone who joins from now on
`/autoroles delete`	Stop giving a role on join
`/autoroles list`	Show the roles given on join

Roles that come back when a member rejoins

Subcommand	What it does
`/stickyroles create`	Make a role stick to members who leave and return
`/stickyroles delete`	Stop a role from being reapplied, and forget who held it
`/stickyroles list`	Show sticky roles and how many members are remembered

Panels members use to pick their own roles

Subcommand	What it does
`/selfroles create`	Start a new panel
`/selfroles option-add`	Add a role to a panel
`/selfroles option-remove`	Take a role off a panel
`/selfroles post`	Post the panel, or repost it after changes
`/selfroles list`	Show this server’s panels
`/selfroles delete`	Delete a panel
